I wanted to leave a bit of advice for the listener with the dog that gets anxious when it's time to get in the car.

I have a cat that doesn't like the car and continually gets carsick. I bought a product called Feliway for her and you spray the product in the kennel or area to calm the cat, using a natural pheromone. I have tried everything with her from prescription drugs to accupuncture and nothing worked until we tried the Feliway. She still gets nervous but her anxiety has been reduced by about 50%.

They make a product for dogs as well but on the website, I only saw a plug-in for the house, similar to the plug-in air fresheners they make now. http://www.felineway.com/html/comfortzone-with-dap.php3 is the website. (I bought the Feliway at Petsmart.)

I just wanted to add this tidbit!
